• The eight House Names during the 1970’s were : “Uranus”, “Mars”, “Solis”, “Titan”, “Atlas”, “Neptune”, “Gemini”, and “Saturn”.
• The semester system was introduced in the 1969-1970 school year. • A lounge was made available for students in 1970. Some yearbooks didn’t include pictures of all the clubs and activities. Therefore, for the purpose of the 70’s website write-up we have included any sport team, club or activity that was mentioned in the 1970 – 1979 yearbooks. Some of these lasted the entire decade while others came and went depending on the year. During the 1970’s the names of Plays and Operettas were not mentioned in the yearbooks. After 1972, the Houses no longer put the names of their Dances in the yearbook. Graduates will remember what they took part in.
